Several scouts from Simsbury Troop 175's Philmont Crew began the first day of their spring break different from many of their peers, they spent several hours clearing the trails at the Town of Simsbury's Onion Mountain forest. Using only hand tools, the scouts cut though fallen trees up to 30" in diameter that had fallen across trails used for hiking, walking and mountain biking.
